On Wednesday, Sharon Alston spent much of her day at Naas Courthouse, waiting for an alcohol licence to be granted for the Forever Young festival she organises. Alston first held the 1980s-themed music festival in 2019, but her event was on hiatus over the last two summers, with Covid-19 restrictions compelling her to postpone the festival – four times.
