Dave Fishwick – made famous by the Netflix hit movie Bank of Dave – wants to meet Finance Minister Simon Harris.
Ireland repaid an €11.5bn bond on Friday as it fell due in a move that cuts the national debt but will also run down some of the huge cash surplus sitting in state coffers.
“I don’t believe in the JNLRs. I never have,” the broadcaster Pat Kenny told the Sunday Independent recently. “I think it’s not a very scientific way of measuring audiences.”
